Eminem's forthcoming fifth album will no longer make its intended release this year. However, fans will be treated to a live DVD before Christmas.
Eminem's next record will be his first since 2004's 'Encore', although last year he was involved in the mix project 'Eminem Presents The Re-Up'.
In a statement at his website, Eminem said "It feels good right now, the energy of the label. For a while, I didn't want to go back to the studio ... I went through some personal things. I'm coming out of those personal things [and] it feels good."
The DVD 'Live In New York City' will be released on November 12. It was recorded in 2005 at Madison Square Garden.
The show was originally filmed for and aired on the Showtime network. It features D12, Obie Trice and Stat Quo.
