Have y'all seen this?! In the August issue they only gave Eminem 4 mics for TES! Shit they suck! He totally deserved 5 mics! :mad: What y'all think bout this? Totally unfair or what?

Completely fair. That is not bad at all. That's is a hell of a improvement from the mics he got on his previous two albums. The skits really ruin the album from being 5 stars IMO. Half of them are very unncessary. It makes it too long and drawn out. A 5 mic album is suppose to have no flaws, no songs you skip and etc... I still don't think the Blueprint deserved 5 stars though, I don't care what anyone says.

The Source really fucked up by giving Blueprint 5 mics. Now they have to give like every album high mics because they are usually better than blueprint. I guess 4 mics would of been alright for The Eminem Show if the Blueprint got like 3 mics.

I thought that was pretty good actually. Everyone has different opinions so whatever. I didn't know the Blueprint got 5 mics...I didn't think that was that good of an album, there are plenty of songs I skip over on that CD.

4/5 is a great score, what's with you people? I think it deserves it. Nothing with Superman and Say What You Say and a verse from Obie Trice deserves 5.

Apparently SSLP wasn't reviewed. If MMLP was and got less than 4/5 then D:<!!!!!!

thats all source have reviewed. I could've sworn I read a review of the SSLP that had 2 and a half mics. Maybe it was another mag that gave it two and a half stars or something. Thanks for clearing that up though.

Yeayh it was Young Zee from the Outsidaz Em was talking about getting a 2 in the Source. I still haven't heard that album.

Frankly, I liked MMLP better than TES, so if both got 4 mics, it's all good...

Did any of you react to the header on the cover when Eminem was on the cover of The Source....? The story of a tormented white boy... that was unecessary IMO. They recieved some criticism from the readers in the next issue, like one of them was saying; "If someone came up to me and called me "black boy", I'd knock him the fuck out..." Lil' off topic here, but I hate it when The Source is constantly focusing on his skin color... it's not the first time it's happening, and it's kinda hard to move forward when they can't look beyond that.

the source are starting to piss me off, their articles are completely LACKING quality, when they did that one before the eminem show came out, that article was bullshit, they hardly foccused on the music, it was all personal shit.

i now only buy that mag for the Letters & the reviews.

I totally agree. They only focused on Em's personal life on the last cover story, and nothing was mentioned about his life as an emcee... that's wack... they hardly let him comment on his work and there was no info about the upcoming album lyrical-wise... reminds me too much of those bubblegum-magz.

I stopped reading magazines a long time ago. I don't trust media, media is fucked. You never know when they're lying.. Unless your smart enough to figure it out. ;) It's sad how they create their own stories and stuff.. :( Lil' off topic maybe, but this really annoys me.
