" The Day The Sky Turned Red "
Verse 1 - doug
Arising complications force me to listen to instigations
As all the nations agree its time to take over the station
It's just like my patience .. its worse than the situation
And the word on the street ceaselessly rings in my eardrums
Try to reason, It's down to Armageddon - can't choose sides
Not like it's Good vs. Evil, no one has got nowhere to hide
By rules we abide .. don't matter if you just happen to die
Witness this genocide .. All you can hear is the leaders sigh ...
Quote:
Quote:
No ! I won't calm down
No ! I won't put my firearm down
No ! We're going to nuke your ass
No ! We'll assign you to the past
Now what goes on behind the scenes ? .. We're never to know
Menacing though .. So different from the image projected yo
No choice but to bow .. to the nuclear superpowers who have-
Vowed to damage the world more then World War II has ever had
It's looking bad .. As we wait for them to pull the trigger
" It's under control ", I can find more truth in white niggers
Dark clouds getting bigger, the smoke's rising fast, billowing
Let me see .. how much time before in our area will it hit ?
Quote:
Quote:
That's it ! I'm pressing the button !
I've had it ! My area you've trodden !
That's the last straw .. Enough of you're lying !
Green presses Button
I've had enough ! It's you whose dying !
Red presses Button
It's resulted in Armageddon - those who live won't forget it
End of the world as we know it, by a bunch of nuclear rockets
I look up at the sky .. my last ounce of energy .. I fall dead
The last day that I lived would be The Day The Sky Turned Red
Chorus (techny9ne) :
Born Into A World, With The Purpose Of Living,
But Human Minds Mutated Into A Hate Unforgiving.
Christ’s Tears Subliminally Fell Watching Bodies Lay Dead,
Cause Heaven Wasn’t Visible The Day The Sky Turned Red.
Verse 2 – techny9ne
God Created The Heavens, The Earth, For Us To Enjoy Them,
But The Minds Of Men Created Different Ways To Destroy Them.
Picture A Town Beautifully Quiet, One Of The Peaceful Ones,
Where Police Get Less Action, Than Well Respected Nuns.
Hidden To Civilization, Population 5 Thousand At Most Spotted,
But The Town Was Located Where U.S Attacks Were Plotted.
Heads Of Corruption, Believed To Receive Weapons Of Destruction,
So Instantly The U.S Went Immediately Into Production.
Rolling Out Blueprints To Plot How They Could Stop A Murderer’s Mind,
When Realistically, They Hypocritically They Were Destroying Their Own Kind…
Hook :
Christ’s Tears Subliminally Fell Watching Bodies Lay Dead,
Cause Heaven Wasn’t Visible The Day The Sky Turned Red.

The Plane Slowly Starts Up, Holding An Atom Bomb Armed,
Metaphorically The Pilot Wipes His Tears Away With His Forearm.
Creeping Slowly Into The Sky, As The Pilot Began To Sing,
While It Was Time For The Town’s School Bells To Ring.
The Pilot Now Approaching The Target, One Last Chance,
To Save A Town Of People For The Life Of One Man.
The President’s Voice Cue’s Saying You Need To Pull The Lever,
If You Complete The Mission You Will Be Remembered Forever.
The Cowardly Man Grabbed Tight And Pulled With His Might,
The Plane Lifted Because 500 Pounds Took A Separate Flight.
The Bomb Slowly Descended, As The Pilot Watched It Fall,
Realizing He Wasn’t Murdering A Few Men, He Was Murdering Them All.
Falling To The Earth, Targeting A Placid Plain,
Nuclear Missles Falling To The Earth, Like Metaphoric ~Acid Rain~
As One Child Raises His Finger To Point To His Mother The Fate,
As They Both Watched The Falling Star Slowly Shift Weight.
The Mother Screamed As It Landed Not Even A A Mile Away,
Cause That Bomb That Hit The Town, Literally Took Her Smile Away.
The Skin Of Children’s Faces, Left Their Skulls With Ease,
Paint Evaporated Off Of Cars, As Bark Did It’s Tree’s.
The Citizens Paid The Price As Christ In Heaven Began To Cry,
You Know You Died In Vein When You See Your Ghost Before You Die.
And If The Blast Didn’t Kill You, The Radioactive Chemicals Will,
Intoxicating The Bodies Of The Corpses That Remained Still.
Vapors Collapsed Lungs While The Town’s Clocks Were All-Out,
Cause There Were More Limps On The Ground, Then A Doll-House.
The Actions Of A Few Men Resulted In 100,000 Bodies That Bled,
Because Heaven Wasn’t Visible The Day The Sky Turned Red.
Quote:
On 6th August 1945, a B29 bomber dropped an atom bomb on Hiroshima. It has been estimated that over the years around 200,000 people have died as a result of this bomb being dropped. Japan did not surrender immediately and a second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki three days later. On 10th August the Japanese surrendered. The Second World War was over
