I cannot do this
I see you standing there in agony
I just lay my face in my hands
I need your strength
Do not cry now momma
We are together
You are never alone
You are my angel
My best friend
I am your mirror image
I remember when Dad died
I heard you shudder
Tears rolled down your cheek
meeting my shoulder
It was over
But just a beginning
I can remember
Farther back
I was a child
Everyone judged me except you
You said I was worth it
To you I was perfect
Your beautiful baby boy
So for your strengh I give strength
I will be your table to lean on
chair to push up on
to help you stand again
Do not fret momma
This is not an ending
You WILL make it
I will make sure of it

I see you laying there
angusish on your face
I just hide myself
must get away from this place
Your pain kills me
You are the only one I trust
The only one who loves me
No MATTER what I do
When I stole as a youth
you loved me
When I dropped out of school
you loved me
When I left you for my love
you loved me
And when I need to be loved now?
You'll love me
Everytime I think it comes from you
The anxiety over your pain
The beautiful poetry I deliver
The words I choose to sing
They are yours momma, not mine
I hide my despair
A weeping willow is never seen
A stoic tree keeps the balance
I give to you not charity
none of this is free
I merely give back to you
what you freely gave to me
And as you hide your hurt
and I too seek help above
We must never speak a word
for' we know each other's love

I hope you show this to ur mom or atleast leave a copy on the table in an envelope with her name on it.
When my mom died and we went through all her stuff this is the sort of thing we found, she would treasure this poem for the rest of her life Josh I think u should make sure she gets it

......... no matter what age he is, he'll always be his mother's son and they will always love each other.

I'm sorry to hear your mother isn't the same way. I can say the same about my father. It happens.
