This is too complicated for me, I’m sorry
I’m grateful for all you’ve done for me
And I don’t want it to change
I want it to carry on just the same

You’ve given me feelings I haven’t felt before
I know how I feel for you, so what are we waiting for?
I’m happy to have you as a friend
But I’m scared if we got together, I’d want us to last till the end

I’m not afraid to admit how I feel
that’s not the problem, it’s my heart I want you to steal
But keep it content, and tell me love is for real
I don’t want this to be a complicated ordeal

I want to know how you feel and what you want to do
Do you want to be alone or shall it be us two?
How much could we last through?
I miss you when I’m not with you

The question is when do you want to be together?
Or is the answer to that never?
But I can’t wait and I can’t cope forever
Eventually my hope runs out and I’ll drift away like a feather
