dude Imma tell ya right the fuck now, that black and white picture is mad hard to cut....look how choppy and shit it looks...so unless you're gunna use it for a graphic and blend it mad hard core into the background---the cut itself looks like poo-poo

but here they are

Cutting out images is pretty easy... at least for me. This is how I do it. I use the erase brush, and make whatever I'm cutting more than 200% the normal size of it, that way I can make sure I don't fuck up on it. It's that simple. :)

yeah, I like yours much better Lori- its much more clean. Another thing u should point out is changing the opacity of the eraser when erasing hard edges. Also using the clone tool- you can get rid of watermarks or any other inperfections in the original piece

Another thing to do...is after you are finished with the picture- a good thing to do is to slightly blur it with the Guassan(spelling?) Blur set to about .8 or 1 in Photoshop. .8 usually is fine.

So true about changeing the opacity, I always have mine lower at least at 70-80. I used the clone tool also lmao ;) sometimes it's a bit harder, like if it's going over the persons whole face.. But otherwise I've done it a lot of times lol. I used something like blur, but slightley different to smooth it out even more.
great minds think alike :)

I used PSP though, I use PSP for most of my graphic making (like blending the photo's together & well basically making the banner ruff draft, then I use Adobe 7 for the font, textures, brushes.
