Nice stuff...interesting concept. Is it related to an actualy psychical loss or emotional loss as I think? I looks like you're referring to losing part of your sol metaphorically due to strggle.

Actually I have a friend who was in Viet Nam, came back sort of messed up like the way I wrote. I have an uncle that was fighting in the Pacific during WWII (I know this will get an answer asking if he fought for the Japanese...I think he would have to be Japanese to fight in their army so no). This more about the loss of mind and soul through battle, killing, and seeing your friends die one by one or 10 by 10 or more. This is dedicated to veterans of past wars even down to this is what I find as evil and immoral (especially since the first thing we started protecting were the oilfields) war on Iraq.
BTW I plan to add to this tonight. Look for the edited version soon.
