well.. is 8 mile about Eminem's life or is it just a story?

Just a story very similar to his real life. It's not a biopic.

It's based on his life, but I guess they couldn't make it 100% authentic because of his mother's disease and all... you know, the Münchausen Syndrome... I don't think he's allowed to officially talk about that...

I think it will do pretty well. Anything with Eminem on it will sell well.

2.Yes is in the movie but the movie is NOT about him when the wrter was writing the movie he thought it would be better if he put some stuff about eminems life in the movie but is not about him its about haldf and half the detroit part and him trying to become a rapper and that is what really happened but everything else in the movie is basically just a story.Eminem plays a kid named Jimmy Smith Jr.

4.The movie is called 8 mile because...In detroit they there roads are mile roads names 6 mile..7 mile etc...when eminem was growing up he live on 7 mile road...8 mile is the road the divides the cultures of detorit.

i think the movie will be mostly about his life. i think he changed a couple details (example in the movie his has a little half sister instead of little half brother nate.) i think he switched a couple things up in order to avoid being sued again by his mom or kim. plus i saw that 2nd trailor for it that came out and in it, jimmy (em's character) is working at lil ceasars pizza and in real life em worked there too. its basically the em story but switched a bit to avoid his trailor park family from suing again.
