I wanted to see the world
I used to care
About these people
In front of me
Never worried about the rich
Or the poor
Looked out for me
And those I love
But then I saw
The injustice towards some
Caused by others

I want
No more
How could this happen
In the U.S. of A
I try to comprehend
This bit of slavery
And then try to dismiss it again

Nothing more happens here
In this world run by money
Run by fear
Built off the tears of families
Of those who died
Frankenstein of the forefathers
Thought of as good
It's going bad
The knots of fear
Tied into my gut
And eviscerate
The name of that which I love
It's the home of the freely oppressed
And bravely suppressed
Through the fear
Of those whose power
Realize
The people's strength

It's no more
And no less
Just something the leaders
Must confess
Because sooner or later
There power will be nothing
Nothing more

I'M THE BOSS

This is more me going from childhood to adulthood at a very early age. I noticed these problems and was truly bothered by them when I started 5th grade. Then it's been a downward spiral into what others call madness but then again if the educated are mad/insane/whatever else you want to use they better open an insane asylum just for me.
