My Reflection

I watch my reflection in the water blur
As my tears cause rip-lets
In the once smooth surface

Is my reflection gone, or am I too disappearing
Am I just a figment of imagination?
A once was

Slowly I fade to black
Who’s heard of me, who remembers me
I’m no one

Walking around invisible, no, floating
I float, I’m ghostly
People try to ignore my presence

Sick of me?
I’ll leave you alone
And walk down my own path of my self destruction

I come to the lake
I peer in, tears flowing down my face
And watch my reflection disappear

I have lost my soul…
