Unless you are there, there's not going to be any blood spilling next to you. Our soldiers who are over there fighting for our country are proud of what they are doing. They signed up to protect America, so as you sit on your computer talking trash, think about what they are doing, so you are able to do what you do daily.
And by the way.....THEY CHOSE TO SIGN UP TO PROTECT AMERICA, there was no draft, there won't be a draft...so what's the fuss about?! They knew what they were doing.
My brother is on Parris Island right now in Bootcamp (Marines) and he is looking forward to going to Iraq. He also voted BUSH.

That was a message I was trying to convey about the people that voted for BUSH not giving a shit about all the issues I stressed in the poem. About how they must not care about our wasting money on this war with our nation's economy in the state it's in or the social welfare programs that Bush keeps shutting down (the one's like the Battered Women's Shelters), etc. That is what that is about - not about "me not giving a shit", because I do!

And Shady Lady - Peace right back at ya! You have a good point about us doing something good over there. The only problem is, is that the second we leave - it is going to be back to chaos as normal I am afraid... I am dating a muslim from Palestine that shares the same beliefs as all the muslims do, which is, that Americans are capitalists that do not know the proper way of God because we are all Christians - and our form of living and our government is going to crumble because we do not live by the ways of God. That is what they believe my friend - our way is not their way. They want a "form of democracy" but not OUR form - they want THEIR form. It is hard to explain - but you will see... If we can ever ACTUALLY leave that place because I believe it is going to be another Vietnam - we are not going to win this one... Not unless we pull out some big ass guns and start blowing up all kinds of shit and that means innocent lives are taken - we can't do that! That would be wrong on so many more levels than what we are already doing by taking the innocent lives that we are already taking with our stray bullets and missiles at this time.

Well, I was trying to be nice. Yes, I think I can speak for most muslims over in that part of the world (not the ones seeking American life that have moved to America!) I stayed in the Northern side of Cyprus (the turkish side/muslim side) - they hate Americans there because of this war, by the way. The general concensus is that Americanism is stupid, that Israel is the holy land and that muslimism is the only way to live and that if you are not muslim you will go to hell and that all of America will go to hell. Whatever sort of democracy is put into place over there, it will have to be on their terms in order to work and I think that is what George W. has had such a hard time with the adjusting to with the change in government over there, otherwise we could have gotten in and gotten out a lot quicker. Do you really think that we get the actual reports on what problems he is running into over there with his change in government??? Do you think he is going to admit to any snags in HIS fucked up plan? I don't think so... And if the plan is to stay there until there is complete peace and harmony there - well we will be there for fucking ever and I think we are sinking a whole lot of American fucking money into a war and a country that has a whole lot of its own money don't you? Why aren't they paying us to keep the peace now for them??? If they want a new way so fucking bad like you say they do... Why are we having to foot the fucking bill for them??? i think people tend to think that just because Bush is in a powerful position, he's supposed to do no wrong. he is human just like the rest of us, and will make mistakes. it's really easy for us all to say what Bush should and should not have done, after seeing the effects his decisions have caused. but i bet the majority of us would not know what to do if we were in power when 9/11 happened. and even for those who feel they know what they would do, there is no guarantee that what you chose to do would be better or worse than what Bush has done.

I agree with parts of what you are both saying here, for example, i agree with Published when he says it was your brothers sorry ass choice to go to war, but then again, if there wasn't people like him serving the country what would happen then, the country would be nothing, the great American flag may as well be burnt cause there is gonna be no there to keep your country as safer place! There will be slip up's like 9/11, i watched a programme on TV called 9/11 Conspiracy Theary, it said that the US Goverment knew that it wasd going to happen, plus how is it possible for a plane to crash into the top of a building so big and for it to collapse in the centre, it has been said that bombs were planted in the middle of the building's to create more havoc and destruction and also death which would then give Bush a good enough reason to go to war!
