OK, I tried to get one or two of these going a while back but failed miserably lmao...I've got a very basic idea now, that I want to put some thought into, and I'm definitely writing something for it.
Basically, you've got up to a minute. Explain how you're feeling at the moment, how your life is, happy, sad, bored, getting money, too high, how's that new job coming? Anything you want. I'm trying to find a beat that could be negative or positive for this, I'm thinking maybe Nas - Affirmative Action, or Aesop Rock - 9-5 Anthem (that is if you can stand that mouth organ sample over and over again with the chimes every 10 seconds...). I've got a loop of Wu - Bellz Of War a full instrumental of Pac - How Do U Want It as well. Or name your own, we'll agree on a beat and hopefully get 3 or 4 guys on this...right now I'm writing to Affirmative Action though.

Ok, I recorded it, but this PC gave me a horrible hissing noise in the background that I've never gotten before. I remember one of you guys saying how to take a clear section of the recording that has JUST the hissing noise and then use that to remove the noise from the rest of the recording... how do I do that?

select 0.3 seconds of just the hissing sound and then from the pull down menus go to....effect or transform or whatever it is > noise reduction > noise reduction. In the noise reduction menu there is a button saying get from profile...click that and the waveform of the hiss should appear. There is a percentage of the noise reduced somewhere next to a horizontal scrolling bar that should be set to 95 percent........with those settings set up click on cancel...then in the edit waveform screen select the entire accapella...then go into the noise reduction menu again and your settings form before should be there so just hit ok..........

i think thats how it's done but i haven't used cooledit for a while now
