Unreliable Love

Apparently, Love never dies but if that’s true
Do you love me as much as you say you do?

Shattered and scared of what’s yet to come
Wish you would tell me so it could be over & done
Broken and lost of thoughts of what you’ll say
Please say you love me, please let me stay

We have a history but it’s not a proper one
You’re there, I’m here, and I wait for you to come
Bask in my presence, taste the lust I feel
Hold me close, give me strength and zeal

Our present is on a course not smooth but rough
So I wonder to myself, ‘will love be enough?’
To break through the darkness, onto the light
Just you and I no more hurt no more fights

The future is unreliable and who knows what’s there
Could be happiness or pain, but look what we have here
Right now apparently, you love me and I you
But I’m still at a loss; you see I’m still so confused

I’m shattered; I’m scared, what lies up ahead?
Today and tomorrow is something I dread
Unsure of what will happen each coming day
Just know I want to be forever trapped in your way

this one is a bit differn't to your others, more straight foward

that is my favourite poem ive read on this thread. i enjoyed reading the words cause ive found a poem on this that i can realte to with someone and im asking you, would i be able to copy and paste your lyrics please so that i can send to this girl cause all what you said in that is how our relationship is and im sure that that poem could make a hell of a lot of difference and you and your poem may be the one to actually make us become 1! i enjoyed reading that as ive just mentioned well done :)
