Btw since u cant edit i just thought it would proably be good to mention i have *cough*preveiwed*cough* all of Ems other cds, and own originals of SSLP,MMLP,Eminem Show, Devils Night, D12 World, and a burned copy of Infinite(so damn rare, or i would have the orig)

That includes all of us who thought this album was going to be one of his best yet. Look, I can honestly say that before now, there wasn't an Eminem song I could say I didn't like. And even now, I find some humor in all of the funny songs on Encore. But, they simply aren't as good as his other shit. Maybe it's all of our faults for downloading the In the Lab EP, because all of those songs were supposed to go on Encore before they were leaked, but since they were, Em had to come up with new songs, so he just threw together 4 or 5 (My First Single, Ass Like That, etc.).

But anyways, if this isn't Em's worst CD yet, what is?

I tend to agree with the rest. I'm sad to say it, but this is one of the worst albums thus far. When I first listened to all the other one's the first thing I said was this is a kick ass album. With this one, well, lets just say kick ass was the futhest from my mind. It's like he's just repeating the same things he's said again. Out of 20 songs maybe 5 are worth listening to. It sucks to say it, I love & adore eminem as much as the next person... But this is far from one of his 'best' albums. It you rate all of the albums, this one is at the bottom of the food chain. Why? Why should people back an artist when the art sucks (not actually saying Eminem's music sucks. I don't think this is up to Eminem's quality is all)? I mean, you wouldn't buy a new car from your favorite car maker if you knew the car was total crap, would you? So, why would you buy a CD that is crap?

it's NOT a great album, it's average. it's a huge contrast to his other albums, most of which were amazing. i'm a huge fan, but don't feel the need to blindly flame those giving an honest review.

simply put, encore is an average album. quite possibly his worse (which is still a complement, to say that someone's worst album is average in comparison to other artists). hoping like hell that some songs are swapped for others on the retail release.

how the album sells is purely relative thing and dosent really say anything about the quality of the album cause Eminem is most popular mainstream rapper and teenagers just buy it cause its on MTV. I will still say that the album is far from the 'best' album he's made. Is it good, yes. Does it kick ass, I don't think so. It's mediocoer, Which for those of you whom don't know what that means... It's in the middle of kick ass & good. I will honestly say it took me about 5-10 times to enjoy it. At first, I didn't know what the fuck was going on. I attempted to listen to it again.. and then by the 5th time, I started to enjoy it a lot more. This is just MY opinion, one of which Eminem, if anyone has taught people it's good to voice your opinion. So how can you say fuck the people who don't like the new album? Free speach, the right to voice your opinion even if anyone else doesn't agree with it.. Isn't that what Eminem stands for????

I like the album bar 3 or 4 songs... an average eminem is still good hip hop in my opinion... does seem he has gotten lazy lyrically though, on some tracks anyway... only hope weak reviews will spur him to get back to his best on future albums.
